As a Copywriting Specialist, you will create unique and inspiring content for YP’s digital products, including but not limited to Diamond and Squad websites. The Copywriter uses researched material and customer-supplied material if available to promote and advertise a client’s brand, products and services. The Copywriter is responsible for accurately updating client’s information and websites upon request.


The Copywriting Specialist will optimize website searches by the strategic placement and usage of relevant industry keywords and specific products and services supplied by the customer.



  • Create full sentences, paragraphs and pages that represent the customer’s business using research and creative decision-making as well as keywords and business information supplied by the customer for YP’s digital products.
  • Create content that meets modern SEO and/or SEO-friendly standards and use best practices when creating SEO-related elements.
  • Research and gather information integral to website fulfillment using internal and external sources to expand and validate customer or MAC-supplied business information.
  • Communicate with and/or present to internal groups regarding special projects, new processes, etc.

What do you need to be a Copywriting Specialist at Yellow Pages?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Writing/Literature or Translation
  • Between 1-2 years of related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Windows and Outlook
  • Very good communications skills (verbal and written French and English)

  • Analytical; able to provide creative, new ideas.
  • Able to work independently; customer-focused.
