Responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and growth of existing revenue within the Diamond Channel by forming strong business partnerships and strategic alliances with YPG’s key accounts.

Key areas of responsability

  • Account Management : Develop and execute strategic account management business plans in order to grow and protect revenue. Build on existing relationships and become a true business partner and trusted advisor with Diamond clients. Understand overall client marketing and advertising plans (both online and traditional), and the Yellow Pages’ role within that mix. Engage with our internal experts at Mediative in order to strategically manage our key accounts.
  • Proactive Market Approach : Analyze account profiles and relevant market and industry trends to assess potential and develop recommendations for growth through YPG 360 solutions. Apply the various sales frameworks presented in 2012 Sales Certification (i.e. Third Box Thinking, Business Compass, Interest Creating Statements, Proactive Innovation, and etc.) with all clients.


  • Education, experience and technical skills
    • Post-secondary education (Business) is an asset.
    • At least five years of combined experience in face to face sales and marketing.
    • Experience in advertising (print and digital) and/or consulting are an asset.
    • Expertise extending across the media landscape from traditional media to new emerging digital solutions.
    • Strong working knowledge of concepts related to SEO, social media, local search, AdWords and paid search (SEM).
    • Expertise and skills to drive revenue targets and proven successful sales results.
    • A certain level of 360 degree business knowledge is a significant asset in establishing strategic alliances.
    • Proven ability in demonstrating and utilizing YPG Analytics and in positioning all YPG digital solutions.
    • Proven successful sales results in working with YPG higher revenue accounts (Signature) preferred.
    • High computer aptitude and strong proficiency with all YPG sales tools as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
    • Must be willing to travel to visit clients throughout specific Region.
  • Soft skills and competencies
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
    • Requires strong consultative skills along with excellent oral & written communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively manage business relationships at all levels of a corporate hierarchy and across multiple industries.
