Role Summary
You want to become a pro at selling digital marketing solutions through consultative selling techniques. You have a true passion for helping Small and Medium sized businesses grow and flourish. You want to master the multi-call selling process, learn new tools and techniques, and prospect for new potential customers. You are a results-driven salesperson who loves crushing quotas and targets to build and upsell your clients.

As an Online Presence Consultant, you are considered the next generation of sales leader and always ready and willing to drive new business, help new teammates and maintain the highest of standards. You will have a voice in the company and be involved in major projects to drive new business.

Responsibilities
• Selling digital marketing solutions to small and medium sized businesses in Canada – over phone and email
• Managing the entire sales cycle – prospecting, needs analysis, solution, proposal, close
• Identifying and targeting prospective customers from prospect database, social media, datamining research
• Analyzing customer needs and proposing appropriate digital marketing solutions
• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM tool
• Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
• Meet established activity and productivity goals – calls, talk time, net new opportunities, sales

Education
• University or college degree or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Work Experience
• 1-2 years of direct sales experience – B2B preferred, B2C considered – inside or outside sales
• Current or previous success in achieving personal sales targets


Competencies

• Strong verbal communication skills – professional, clear and concise
• Good business judgement and decision-making skills
• Existing level of digital knowledge and proficiency – including personal usage and understanding of Social Media
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Experience using a CRM tool is an asset
• Experience using screen sharing technologies as part of the sales process is an asset

Qualifications:
University or college degree in marketing or communication or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of direct work experience in a sales or telesales capacity.
Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
Experience with customer relationship management software.
Strong proven negotiating and closing skills
Strong business, technical and analytic skills 
Must be an effective communicator with excellent verbal and written skills both in comprehension and expression.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent listening skills and ability to analyze and recognize subtleties in a conversation.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced/results-driven environment and respond accordingly to high priority situations is essential.
Must be able to work independently or as a part of a team in a fast-paced/multi-tasked environment.
Comfortable with working under pressure.
Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills.
Engage in continual learning in regards to new products, tools and resources. 
Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.

Experience with web based applications and Windows.
Bilingual: Verbal and written French is an asset.
